Accessibility
Last updated: October 15, 2026
I want everyone to be able to use this site comfortably, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive tools.
What I’ve done
- I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
- Text and buttons have strong color contrast on every background.
- You can move through every page with a keyboard. There’s a “Skip to content” link at the top of each page.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
- The lineage chart has a text version on the same page.
- Pages work on phones and at large text sizes.
- Crisis numbers are links you can tap to call or text.
What I’m still working on
- The lineage chart is wide. On small screens, it’s shown smaller, and the text version below it has the same information.
If something doesn’t work for you
Please let me know through the contact details on my About page. Tell me which page, and what got in the way. I’ll do my best to fix it, or to get you the information another way.
